What is the primary function of the coronary sinus?

It prevents backflow of blood from the aorta into the left ventricle. It collects venous blood from the cardiac muscle and drains it into the right atrium. It distributes oxygenated blood from the aorta to the cardiac muscle. It supplies oxygenated blood to the posterior wall of the left ventricle.
